Janet Pritchett is a Mortgage Advisor for Parker Mortgage. She and her husband Mike are 19-year Fishers residents and have four children, the eldest is attending Purdue University after graduating from Fishers High School. Their three other children currently attend Fishers High School, with the next oldest graduating this year. Pritchett has spent more than a decade serving the Fishers community and championing resident involvement.  She has a passion for education and supporting Fishers’ children, families, and residents.

Janet was previously elected to the HSE district school board, where she served as board president during her tenure.  Janet was pivotal in starting the Fishers Democrat Club and is also a proud member of the Fishers Rotary.  As Fishers City Clerk, Janet looks forward to increasing citizen access to and involvement with the Fishers City government.

The city clerk plays a critical role in upholding the principles of transparent governance, accountability, and efficiency. As a previous HSE District School Board member, Janet understands the importance of transparency and how it directly relates to trust in government. Fishers deserves a Clerk who not only maintains records, but is also a bridge between citizens and elected officials.

Janet will ensure that all records and official documents are readily available to you so that you can be informed about the decisions shaping Fisher’s future. She believes that your voice matters and will create and support avenues for your input.
